Join me for a weekend of yoga, meditation and exploring the gorgeous Blue Ridge Mountains, caverns and rivers. With only 8 students joining, this will be a wonderful opportunity to experience a Mysore practice with a small setup and all the attention you deserve. I’ll be your yoga teacher and your guide while we not only further our yoga practice but also immerse ourselves into the tranquility peace and serenity that nature has to offer.

About the town we will be residing in:

Banner Elk is a town in North Carolina’s Blue Ridge Mountains. It lies between 2 ski resorts: Sugar Mountain Resort to the south, and Beech Mountain Resort to the north. In town, the Banner House Museum displays period furnishings, tools and clothing in a 1860s home. Wildcat Lake has a beach and a pier.

To the southeast, Grandfather Mountain is home to a nature museum, trails and the Mile High Swinging Bridge.

About the house we will be staying in:
 

The beautiful Bed and Breakfast is an historic farmhouse, built in 1911. You enter another time and place when you stay with us: it evokes memories of a more carefree time where days slowed down a bit and the mind relaxed; a huge wraparound porch beckons as just the spot for reading a good book or having a nice coffee or a cup of tea. We have a brook across the house, farmland behind that and the mountains rising from that point on a little heaven on earth.

• Three nights of stay.

• Homemade breakfast by a French Cook.

• Transportation to airport and back, to state parks and restaurants.

• Three Mysore yoga practices and meditation classes

• Visits to Grandfather Mountain State Park, Linville Caverns, Boone NC and/or Blowing Rock NC.
